Conventional protectors are spent by the act of protecting, a little at a time, and nothing tells you when they stop. Bantam conditions your power with tuned inductors in series, on every conductor. Four ideas separate the two, and they build on each other.

The ground path problem
Conventional protectors send surge energy to ground. Your digital electronics use that same conductor as their zero volt reference. Protecting one wire by corrupting another is not protection.

Magnetic decoupler
Three conductors bound in one jacket behave like a transformer nobody designed. Bantam decouples them, so a problem on one cannot be traded to the next.
